Safety Coordinator
Safety Coordinator – Austin, TX (Multi-Site)
Help keep teams safe and projects moving. Our client is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support active construction sites across the Austin area. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on in the field, confident leading crews, and comfortable working independently while keeping leadership informed.
What You’ll Do
Conduct routine site walks and safety observations
Lead and support toolbox talks
Track, document, and follow up on corrective actions
Provide oversight of contractor safety and compliance
Travel between multiple sites in the Austin area as needed
Operate independently while consistently communicating site conditions, risks, and trends to leadership
Baseline Requirements (Required)
OSHA 30 (Construction) (required)
Hazard Communication (HazCom) training (required due to multiple chemical systems and vendors in data center operations)
First Aid / CPR
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 510 – Construction Industry Standards
OSHA 511 – General Industry Standards
OSHA 501 – Trainer Authorization
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
What Success Looks Like
You’re visible in the field and build trust with foremen and crews
You identify hazards early and drive corrective action to closure
You help contractors stay aligned with site rules and expectations
You keep documentation clean, timely, and audit-ready
Additional Notes
Must be comfortable working across multiple job sites and managing priorities independently.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are typically expected for multi-site support roles.
