Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator / Scheduler to support construction projects in the Austin, TX area. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, keeps multiple teams aligned, and can turn moving parts into a clear, realistic plan.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain project schedules (look-ahead plans, weekly updates, milestones)

  • Coordinate daily/weekly planning with PMs, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors

  • Track progress, identify schedule risks, and propose recovery actions

  • Manage meeting cadence (OAC meetings, subcontractor meetings) and publish minutes/action items

  • Support RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, and key deliverables that impact schedule

  • Maintain accurate reporting: labor tracking, production updates, schedule narratives, and dashboard updates

  • Communicate schedule changes clearly and keep stakeholders aligned

Baseline Requirements (Required)

  • 2+ years of experience in a project coordinator, scheduler, or project controls role (construction)

  • Proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools (examples: MS Project, Excel/Sheets; Primavera P6 is a plus)

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with field and office teams

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting commercial construction (data centers, industrial, healthcare, or large-scale projects)

  • Familiarity with critical path scheduling, look-ahead planning, and schedule variance reporting

  • Experience tracking procurement lead times and long-lead items

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
