Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Lead comprehensive HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies
- Drive positive organizational culture
- Labor Relations:
- Lead collective bargaining processes
- Build and maintain productive union relationships
- Ensure compliance with labor agreements
- Compliance & Policy Development:
- Oversee compliance with PR and US labor laws
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Manage OSHA compliance and safety protocols
- Employee Relations:
- Foster positive employee relations
- Facilitate conflict resolution
- Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership
- Talent Management:
- Direct recruitment and retention strategies
- Oversee training and development programs
- Lead performance management initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent field
- Progressive HR leadership experience
- Knowledge of PR and US labor laws
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Experience in policy development and implementation
Desired Background:
- Professional HR certifications
- Experience in construction or industrial sectors
- Background in change management
- Knowledge of safety regulations
Position Requirements:
- Travel to various locations throughout Puerto Rico
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
