About the Role: Join a leading construction company in Puerto Rico as Human Resources Manager. This strategic position, based in Guaynabo with travel across the island, offers an opportunity to shape organizational culture and drive excellence in HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Lead comprehensive HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies
  • Drive positive organizational culture
  1. Labor Relations:
  • Lead collective bargaining processes
  • Build and maintain productive union relationships
  • Ensure compliance with labor agreements
  1. Compliance & Policy Development:
  • Oversee compliance with PR and US labor laws
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Manage OSHA compliance and safety protocols
  1. Employee Relations:
  • Foster positive employee relations
  • Facilitate conflict resolution
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership
  1. Talent Management:
  • Direct recruitment and retention strategies
  • Oversee training and development programs
  • Lead performance management initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent field
  • Progressive HR leadership experience
  • Knowledge of PR and US labor laws
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Experience in policy development and implementation

Desired Background:

  • Professional HR certifications
  • Experience in construction or industrial sectors
  • Background in change management
  • Knowledge of safety regulations

Position Requirements:

  • Travel to various locations throughout Puerto Rico
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
