Our client, a leading company in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their dynamic team in San Juan. This role is ideal for an organized, proactive professional with a background in accounting and a passion for accurate financial management. In this position, you’ll play a vital role in supporting impactful construction projects that shape the landscape of Puerto Rico.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments and accurate recording of transactions
- Prepare and maintain financial reports related to accounts receivable, client payments, and outstanding balances
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing issues with clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with accounting and finance departments to support month-end and year-end close processes
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data and create detailed reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Bilingual (English and Spanish), with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Preferred: Prior experience in the construction industry, with a working knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
