Senior Executive

We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to join a leading general contractor with projects across the Southeast. The Project Executive serves as a strategic leader and trusted advisor, responsible for overall management of assigned projects while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. This role requires a strong communicator who can drive execution, mentor teams, and build lasting client and subcontractor relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level oversight for complex, large-scale projects in sectors such as data centers, industrial, life sciences, healthcare, cold storage, and manufacturing.

  • Participate in owner contract negotiations and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Support estimating and preconstruction by reviewing drawings, ensuring subcontractor coverage, and leading owner/precon calls.

  • Conduct design coordination meetings and oversee project planning.

  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, cost projections, and financial tracking.

  • Collaborate with accounting, legal, and project coordinators to ensure contractual compliance.

  • Visit job sites regularly, ensuring progress, safety, and quality standards are met.

  • Lead subcontractor meetings and project closeout, ensuring all requirements are met.

  • Mentor project managers and superintendents, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

  • Provide high-level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for project teams.

  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and client-first leadership.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, including oversight of large-scale projects ($100M+ preferred).

  • Strong understanding of contract law, project accounting, and risk management.

  • Experience leading projects for a general contractor in design-build or CM-at-risk delivery models.

  • Proficiency in project management systems and software (Autodesk Build, Procore, or similar).

  • Exceptional communication and client-facing presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.
