Project Manager – Data Center, Large-Scale Manufacturing, Sports & Recreation
We are seeking a Project Manager to join a leading general contractor with projects across the Southeast. The Project Manager will serve as a key representative of the company, responsible for managing the overall project direction, financial outcomes, and client satisfaction. The right candidate will bring strong leadership skills, the ability to manage complex schedules and budgets, and experience in industrial, healthcare, mission critical/data centers, aviation, large-scale manufacturing, cold storage, or sports/recreational facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project teams through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
Develop and manage project schedules, driving tasks to meet critical milestones.
Oversee subcontractor buyout, contract execution, and performance.
Manage budgets, job cost forecasting, and change orders to ensure profitability.
Support and collaborate with Superintendents in field execution.
Serve as client-facing contact, maintaining strong professional relationships.
Lead OAC, preconstruction, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
Ensure compliance with company safety and quality control standards.
Administer contracts, permits, and all closeout requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5–8+ years of experience in construction project management with a general contractor.
Proven ability to manage projects in excess of $25M–$50M+.
Strong understanding of design-build or CM-at-risk delivery models.
OSHA 30 preferred.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary generally ranging $110K–$150K+ (based on experience and project size).
