About the Role

We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. In this pivotal role, you'll lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence while building strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams in developing and managing comprehensive project schedules
  • Drive critical milestones including design, procurement, construction, startup, commissioning, and closeout
  • Oversee construction site progress to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion
  • Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors across various project phases
  • Develop and issue subcontracts and purchase orders in collaboration with your team
  • Identify risks and implement effective contingency plans
  • Manage inputs from diverse stakeholders and maintain clear communication channels
  • Support the Superintendent in project execution
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses while ensuring proper administration of construction contracts
  • Develop and manage project budgets to meet contractual requirements and ensure profitability
  • Maintain consistent, clear communication with internal and external customers
  • Oversee comprehensive project closeout processes

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years in Construction Project Management preferred
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or Civil Engineering preferred
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial, and/or Distribution environments preferred
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical background in construction methodologies and practices
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with demonstrated skill in influencing team decisions
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple priorities
