Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Talent Delivery, the Construction Recruiter manages the full recruitment life cycle for professional, technical, and skilled-trade roles across the United States and Puerto Rico. You will partner directly with hiring managers and executives, build robust talent pipelines, and deliver a first-class candidate experience—while maintaining strict compliance with EEOC, OFCCP, and all applicable labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Requisition Management – Lead intake meetings, craft job postings, and set hiring timelines.
Sourcing & Outreach – Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, trade schools, veteran networks, and diversity job boards to meet affirmative-action goals.
Screening & Selection – Interview, assess, and present qualified candidates; coordinate hiring-manager interviews and feedback.
Candidate Experience – Provide timely communication and constructive feedback throughout the process.
Stakeholder Partnership – Advise clients on market trends, compensation ranges, and process improvements.
Compliance & Documentation – Maintain accurate records in the ATS; ensure adherence to EEOC/OFCCP standards and internal SOPs.
Metrics & Reporting – Track funnel data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend sourcing or process adjustments.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience specifically within the construction industry (commercial, heavy civil, or industrial).
Proficiency with a cloud-based ATS (e.g., JazzHR, Greenhouse, iCIMS).
Documented success managing multiple requisitions in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written-communication skills.
Self-directed, organized, and results-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal contractors or OFCCP-regulated clients.
Familiarity with job-board analytics and Boolean/X-ray sourcing techniques.
Contract Details
1099 engagement; competitive hourly or project-based rate discussed during interviews.
Fully remote; occasional client or team travel (expenses reimbursed).
Contract length and weekly hours set collaboratively based on project load and recruiter capacity.
