Descripción del Puesto

Nuestro cliente, líder en la industria de construcción y manufactura de asfalto en Puerto Rico, está buscando un Operador de Planta a tiempo completo. El candidato ideal será responsable de operar y mantener la planta de asfalto, asegurando un funcionamiento eficiente y seguro acorde con las leyes de MSHA y laborales de Puerto Rico.

Responsabilidades Básicas

  • Operar y supervisar el funcionamiento de la planta de asfalto.
  • Realizar inspecciones diarias de equipos y maquinaria para garantizar su correcto funcionamiento.
  • Monitorear la producción y calidad del asfalto, ajustando los controles según sea necesario.
  • Realizar el mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de la planta y sus componentes.
  • Llevar registros precisos de la producción y mantenimiento.
  • Asegurarse de que todas las operaciones cumplan con las normativas de seguridad y medioambientales.
  • Coordinar con el equipo de mantenimiento para resolver problemas técnicos.
  • Participar en reuniones de seguridad y capacitaciones periódicas.

Requisitos Físicos

  • Capacidad para levantar y transportar objetos de hasta 50 libras.
  • Habilidad para permanecer de pie por períodos prolongados y realizar trabajos manuales.
  • Buena coordinación motora y destreza manual para operar maquinaria y herramientas.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en condiciones climáticas variables y en ambientes de trabajo ruidosos.
  • Disponibilidad para realizar horas extras según sea necesario.

Requisitos

  • Experiencia previa en operación de plantas de asfalto o en la industria de construcción.
  • Conocimiento de las normativas de seguridad de MSHA y leyes laborales de Puerto Rico.
  • Habilidad para leer, escribir e interpretar manuales técnicos y planos.
  • Buenas habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para trabajar en equipo.
  • Licencia de conducir válida y disposición para desplazarse a diferentes sitios de trabajo si es necesario.
  • Certificado de Buena Conducta al día
