PeopleLift is seeking a Lead Control Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Emerson DeltaV to join a world-class automation team. Our client is a global leader in control systems integration, known for delivering innovative, vendor-independent solutions to the Life Sciences, Chemicals, and Data Center industries.

In this role, you aren’t just a programmer; you are a consultant, a mentor, and a technical visionary. You will lead multi-disciplined teams through the full project lifecycle—from initial concept and functional design to onsite commissioning.

The Impact You Will Make:

• Technical Leadership: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DeltaV systems, overseeing complex architecture design, configuration, and implementation.

• Project Execution: Lead large-scale automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Client Consultancy: Act as the primary technical point of contact for high-profile clients, translating business needs into robust technical requirements.

• Mentorship: Guide and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

• Innovation: Develop and implement advanced control strategies, including Batch (S88) and Continuous control, within the DeltaV environment.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Expertise: 7+ years of experience in Process Automation or Systems Integration.

• DeltaV Mastery: Proven experience with DeltaV configuration (Control Modules, Graphics, Batch, Security, and Hardware). Experience with DeltaV PK controllers or DeltaV Live is a plus.

• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Life Sciences (GMP/Validated environments), Specialty Chemicals, or similar process industries.

• Leadership Skills: Experience leading project teams and managing technical deliverables.

• Education: B.S. in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
